Study determines that app may aid in reduction of pain severity
The app “Pain Buddy” may aid in the reduction of pain severity in children during cancer treatment, according to results of a recent pilot study. With a kid-friendly interface, pediatric cancer patients can use Pain Buddy to report the severity and type of pain they are experiencing from their home — information that doctors can access in real time. 2019’s flu vaccine provided significant protection in children
Last year’s influenza vaccine was 62% effective among children, according to recently reported data. It was also over 50% effective against influenza B – which is more common among children than adults – despite being considered a poor match.
