Five ways to manage kids' anxiety about school
Whether children are remaining in virtual classrooms or returning to in-person school, they are likely experiencing some anxiety. Here are five ways parents can help prepare their kids for the rest of the school year.

The pandemic may be increasing kids' suicide risk
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shared that emergency departments saw a rise in total visits from kids for mental health needs between April and October 2020. Although there are no nationwide numbers on deaths by suicide in 2020 yet, there are growing concerns about the pandemic’s impact on pediatric mental health, as highlighted in this NPR story.
