Brodie celebrated the end of his cancer treatment with an epic Nerf battle with family and friends. Wanting to give back to other CHOC Children’s patients, the now 12-year-old boy also turned his celebration into a fundraiser.

Adalie's journey back to ballet after surgery
Adalie fell in love with dance when she was just 4 years old. As she grew up, she developed a worsening depression in her chest, known as pectus excavatum. This caused chest pain and shortness of breath, and limited her dancing abilities.
Clowns do more than lift spirits at children's hospitals
Red Nose Docs use juggling, comedy, magic and music to inject laughter and fun into the hospital environment, all while helping patients meet clinical goals. Medical clowning was established at CHOC in 2015 thanks to Southern California philanthropists Ralph and Sue Stern.
