Remembering Dr. Nick Anas
With deep sadness, we share news of the passing of Dr. Nick Anas, senior vice president and physician-in-chief at CHOC Children’s. Dr. Anas joined CHOC’s medical staff in 1984 and was appointed medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit in 1991. A year later, he launched the CHOC-Harbor UCLA Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program, playing a key role in training future generations of pediatric specialists. Thousands of young lives, across multiple generations, have forever been changed for the better because of him. We honor Dr. Anas by continuing his great work and commitment to excellence.
